Mouse Always Double Clicks

Friday, 28 November 2008 11:12

God this is possibly the most annoying problem i have ever come across, and the solution is near on impossible to find!

Basically in vmware, when using an operating system, all single clicks get interpreted as double clicks. How annoying could it possibly want to be!!

After MUCH MUCH MUCH searching on google a simple tutorial or solution really wasn't very apparent. But finally, low and behold I now have the answer.

This bug occured for me in fedora, and one of my work colleges in centos, and also i have read reports of it happening in ubuntu and other various linux OS's. The solution is fairly simple tho, just read below all all mouse clicks will finally read as a single click instead of the fake double click you were getting:

London Trains & Perl Coding

Friday, 31 October 2008 10:36
Bit slow on the old update recently, but been learning some new languages. Anyone ever tried using perl? God its possibly the shittest language ever put into existance! Why is it that in every other language you can compare 2 variables via "bob"=="bob" whereas in perl this doesnt work. Well it works, but in perl "bob"=="fred" also counts as true. WTF?! Apparently in perl you need to specify eq instead of == when dealing with strings. What a joke! And you know what else really grinds my gears? London trains. Yesterday there was a crack in the rail, took bloody ages to get back on the train and moving. And we were the lucky ones, our train was one of the first to start moving again. Everyone else must have been horrendously stitched right up! Sod that for a laugh. . .
